W8 Sidebar คือ โปรแกรมดูการทำงานต่างๆของระบบ CPU,RAM,HDD,Network ที่น่าสนใจ โปรแกรมนี้คือโปรแกรม Stdebar อีกหนึ่งตัวที่จะแสดงการทำงานของซีพียู หน่วยความจำ ไดร์ฟต่าง ๆ ที่ติดตั้งอยู่ในเครื่องไม่ว่าจะติดตั้งตรงกับเมนบอร์ด หรือจะต่อผ่านทางพอร์ต USB ก็จะรายง่ายให้ทราบทั้งหมดว่ามีการใช้งานพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลไปมากน้อยขนาดไหน ตามมาด้วยข้อมูลการดาวน์โหลดและอัพโหลดผ่านทางพอร์ต LAN อีกด้วย ทั้งยังสามารถตั้งเวลาการชัดดาวน์เครื่องได้แบบอัตโนมัติ มีปุ่มทางลัดเพื่อให้เราชัดดาวน์ รีสตาร์ท สั่งให้เข้าสู่ sleep โหมด ส่วนเครื่องมืออื่น ๆ ที่ติดมาด้วยก็เช่นการค้นหาไฟล์ กำจัดไฟล์ขยะในวินโดวส์



W8 Sidebar : W8 Sidebar is a standalone application that emulates some of the functionality of the Windows 7 sidebar. It offers a quick overview of your system resource usage (RAM, CPU), hard drive utilization, network speed as well as several other handy tools. In addition to the informational features, W8 Sidebar includes a file search tool, a junk file cleaner, quick access buttons to shutdown or reboot your computer, a task scheduler and reminder tool and a computer performance overview with startup manager.
